The process for implementing a new JANET backbone can be broken down into three overall stages. This starts with a User Requirements Analysis, which leads, if necessary, and if funding is available, to a procurement stage. Once the procurement has been completed we then move to an implementations stage.
To date the procurement process for SuperJANET5 has completed and the rollout of the backbone infrastructure is currently underway.
