Course Prices

JANET Training is introducing a new pricing model following feedback from the community. This new model extends access to our courses to Schools and Local Authority delegates and allows delegates from commercial organisations supporting the academic community.

Our courses are charged on a cost recover basis for the day only. The cost of course development is covered by SLA funding from the JISC. These charges therefore reflect the contribution being made by and provides subsidised places for primary connected organisations.

Primary Connected Organisations	This includes all Government funded Higher Education Institutes, further Education Colleges and all the Research Councils. For further details see the JANET web site or email training@ja.net	£180 per delegate
Interconnect Connected Sites	This includes all Regional Broadband Consortia, Local Authorties and delegates from UK Schools.	£200 per delegate
Commercial Companies Supporting JANET Sites	This includes sponsored connected sites, commercial companies working under an outsourced support contract or, where appropriate, are involved in a JANET service or project.	£275 per delegate

All prices now include VAT, all course materials, refreshments and lunch.

We provide two opportunities for free training courses.

Our Introduction to JANET is available at no cost to primary and interconnected organisations.
Before running a new course in full, we always run a trial. Although a number of spaces on these trials are set aside for invited subject experts, these courses are open to staff from JANET connected sites on a first come first served basis. For more information and details of what will be expected of delegates attending these trials follow this link.

Training Credits We have just introduced a new training credits scheme for primary connected sites. This scheme allows an individual, department or organisation to buy a number of places on our courses. These credits can be used on any of our courses at any location and offer a minimum 11% discount on our normal charges.

Five - 5 places on any of our courses is available for £800 including VAT
Ten - 10 places on any of our courses is available for £1500 including VAT

NOTE: Although these credits can be purchased by anyone, places booked using this scheme are only available to Primary Connected Organisation.

To redeem a training credit, delegates should books as normal and include the credit reference on their card against the purchase order number.
