JANET Training

What to Expect

Our courses are designed to provide a balance between practical activities and information dissemination as we believe people learn when they are actively engaged within the instructional process. This means that the majority of our courses include some form of participant involvement whether that is discussion, group work, case studies and/or hands-on use of hardware, software or demonstrations.

Each course is accompanied by a course workbook. Where appropriate, participants also receive additional documentations relating to the subject. For example, all participants on our Introduction to DNS course receive the JANET Technical Guide to DNS on JANET and a copy of the popular O’Reilly book DNS and Windows Server 2003.

Timetable

All courses will run between 10:00 and 16:30 (refreshments available from 09:30).  The timetable during the day will be adjusted to allow discussion of areas of particular interest to the audience. Refreshments and lunch are provided on all courses.
