Course Overview
Videoconferencing can provide fast and cost effective access to colleagues, peers and subject experts. However the technology involved can sometimes appear daunting. The aim of this course is to prepare you for using videoconferencing by familiarising you with the equipment and addressing the issues that you may encounter. For those supporting videoconferencing in their organisation, this course will give a broad overview of what is available and how it works. Perhaps more importantly it will give an appreciation of what using VC facilities actually feels like and what the issues can be. The course will include participation in a number of short videoconferences.
