JANET Managed Router Service

The JANET Managed Router Service provides remote support to those sites that require additional assistance and expertise in supporting their network router. The service runs in parallel with the existing maintenance contract held for JANET network equipment and as such is only available to those sites whose routers are covered by the JANET(UK) maintenance agreement with Total Network Solutions (TNS)

As part of this service TNS will act as the first point of contact when a problem is experienced. TNS will then remotely access the router via an ISDN line to ascertain the nature of the fault. In the case of hardware failure, the maintenance contract will be invoked and an engineer will arrange a visit to provide an on-site fix.
