Call for Papers

Networkshop 35 will offer a unique opportunity to present and discuss technical and practical aspects of providing advanced Internet services and applications to the research and education community in the UK.

Experts from within the JANET community and further afield will deliver in-depth information on current Internet issues as well as practical hands-on workshops.

Audience Profile

The conference will be of particular interest to network managers and technical staff from the UK research and education community. The conference provides a forum for technical updates and discussions on current and developing networking technologies, bringing together expertise from all fields of networking.


Other professionals with an interest in research and education networking will also find the event very useful. Networkshop 35 will provide the opportunity to increase knowledge and broaden horizons on relevant technical issues by listening and talking to those involved in research and education networking in the UK.

If these topics fall into your area of expertise or you have any networking-related project that you’d like to share with the community, then JANET(UK) would like to hear from you! (See below for submission of papers). This event could be an ideal opportunity for you to share the results of your work and make yourself known to other colleagues from the UK research and education networking community.

In addition to experts and users from the research and education community, JANET(UK) staff will present details on some of JANET(UK)’s current services and future activities, as well as providing a number of hands-on workshops.


Publications

All accepted papers will be presented at the conference. Abstracts will be distributed to delegates at Networkshop. After the event, all presented papers will be made available online through the JANET web site.

Submission of Papers

Interested authors are invited to submit an abstract of their paper with a short autobiography by 8am Monday 13 November 2006 to:
