This year JANET(UK) is organising two events prior to Networkshop 33. These half day workshops will provide a overview and introduction to the JANET network (Monday 21st March) and the JANET Services (Tuesday 22nd March). Both workshops are open to all JANET primary connected organisations and attendance at the main Networkshop 2005 conference is not required. There will be no charge made to those attending these workshop although registration is vital.
Introduction to JANET
Afternoon - Monday 21st March
The workshop will provide an introduction to the JANET network, how it is funded, the policies that apply, and JANET(UK)’s role in developing and providing it. It will also provide a short introduction to Networkshop to give an overview of its aims and structure.

JANET Services
Morning - Tuesday 22nd March
The workshop will provide overviews of JANET services available to all primary connected organisations. Following an introduction to the workshop and quick overview of each of the services the workshop will break into parallel sessions which will give participants the opportunity to select one of three breakout sessions.
