Networkshop 32 will take place at Keele University from lunch-time on Tuesday 6th April to lunch-time on Thursday 8th April 2004.
Networkshop is an annual event organised by JANET(UK) and hosted by a Higher Education Institution (HEI). Aimed at network managers and technical staff from the JANET community, the conference provides a forum for discussion on the latest network technologies and brings together expertise from all the fields of networking.
Networkshop 32 will be held at Keele University, centrally located within the UK with excellent communication links for all types of travel. The University is situated two miles west of Newcastle-under-Lyme on the A525 road to Whitchurch, Nantwich and Crewe. Please see the University's website for further information:
http://www.keele.ac.uk/university/travel.htm
Delegates will be staying in University Halls - Holly Cross or The Oaks. All rooms are single en-suite, offering a private shower, toilet and washbasin. Towels and soap are provided. Individual tea and coffee making facilities are available in each room, with access to communal kitchens, dining areas and ironing rooms. Bedrooms are serviced daily. A telephone is available in each bedroom. There are lifts to all floors in en-suite blocks.
The exhibition offers a unique opportunity for firms supplying network hardware, software and services to present themselves to the technical experts and managers who decide on the expenditure for the academic community. The community as a whole spends two hundred and twenty million pounds per annum on networking.
There are opportunities for firms to sponsor various items during the conference.
