| I have been working at Loughborough University as part of the joint Loughborough/Manchester University Bandwidth Management Advisory Service (BMAS) since January of 2004. Previous to this I worked for Nottinghamshire County Council's Education IT team advising schools and FE colleges on all their IT needs but mainly concentrating on their use of the new East Midlands Broadband Consortium (EMBC) wide area network and how to make best use of it. My 10 years in industry up until this time saw me in a variety of mainly network oriented roles in the retail sector but my roots lie in IBM, VAX and Unix mainframe programming. | ||||
