Networkshop is an annual event organized by JANET(UK) and hosted by a Higher Education Institution (HEI). Aimed at network managers and technical staff from the JANET community, the conference provides a forum for discussion on the latest network technologies and brings together expertise from all the fields of networking.

Networkshop 28 (2000) was jointly organised by a team from Heriot-Watt University and JANET(UK). JANET(UK)'s co-ordinator for Networkshop 28 (2000) was John MacCulloch.
