Incoming traffic to JANET reached record new levels when it peaked at 7.04Gbit/s on the 26th April.
Shirley Wood (Customer Services Director) commented 'It is great to see the continued growth of the JANET community and their increasing use of the network driving traffic to record new levels. This growth is in line with expectations and supports the important work in progress for the procurement of SuperJANET5 the next stage in the evolution of the UK's education, learning and research network.
