The JDAG advises JANET(UK) on the execution and continued development of a programme of network development activities associated specifically with the Regional Networks. This subset of the activities of the JANET Network Development Programme aims to ensure that JANET remains responsive to user requirements and continues to provide an advanced, world class network service.
To help Regional Networks and the wider UK academic community plan for the introduction of new technologies and services, a timetable for the progress of development activities towards service will be maintained as part of the Programme. The group will monitor the progress of development activities against the objectives set for each year, and assess any changes required to the five year plan.
