JANET CSIRT activities beyond JANET

In support of its broad mission to make JANET safe and support the JANET community in security matters, JANET CSIRT undertakes work in communities and organisations with a UK, European or worldwide outlook on matters with some bearing on network security.

• HEAnet
  HEAnet is the academic and research network in Ireland, JANET's counterpart and peer network. JANET CSIRT acts also as HEAnet-CERT to provide the security response function for HEAnet.
• RTIR
  RTIR is an Incident Handling application based on Request Tracker (RT), for which JANET CSIRT provided the initial specification and funding and continues to lead development.
